Many many things have happened since my last post not to mention that that post was 6 months overdue! I feel that I would jeopardize my health if this post was not focused around the fact that we are now the proud parents of a strapping lad bringing our brood to a tally of FOUR! How would this jeopardize my health you may wonder, well as my most faithful reader is my dear spouse she would certainly be tempted to apply the old rolling pin routine to my cranium in an effort to jog my memories, if I were to say ramble on about my noble racing pursuits (coming soon), as opposed to elaborating on the joys of familial expansion. (Sorry Hun please overlook my comedic ranting at your expense, we all know it would take more than a rolling pin!)
So late into the evening on the night before baby Andy's due date I was rudely startled from my sleep by a startled gasp followed quickly by the sound of a waterfall. Thus commenced a labor rather different from our other three as they all started around dawn and were not initiated by breaking water, in fact all of our others required a late stage assisted breaking of said waters to encourage progress. Initially our hopes were high that this would be a great sign of a short labor but it was not to be. Progress was slow and steady but with no sleep and exhaustion setting in some seven hours later medication was administered and a brief measure of sleep occurred followed by the arrival of our third son and fourth child.

Besides the obvious perfection of a new arrival Andy's cleft chin was a delightful surprise. |

We are delighted to welcome this little soul into our home and are most grateful for the love and support of family and friends in their well wishes. It is also fun to note that without induction we now have two of our kiddos born on their due date.

Not my favorite vacation destination but I sure love the company! |

It is hard to wrap my mind around the fact that there are now four of them to keep track of but they sure fun to look at. ;)
And so it is that I introduce you to Andrew Winslow named in keeping with the pattern established for his older siblings, after a family member (his maternal great grandfather) and a strong individual from the Bible.
Also in keeping with tradition this little fella is wasting no time un-littleing himself.
